This position will report directly to the VP, Cloud Infrastructure & Cybersecurity with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger's hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• Seven (7) plus years of Networking experience.
• Experience in and enthusiasm to lead a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in cloud technology such as Azure.
• Proficient in command line, PowerShell, and Python languages.
• Experience working with wireless technologies and hardware.
• Proficient in Network troubleshooting programs/sniffers (both wired and wireless), Orion Solarwinds, Azure, Active Directory, and Fortinet Products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer mobile, wireless, and infrastructure networking operations to ensure the security and integrity of Tanger's networks.
• Implement Technology plans to meet department goals and align with corporate strategy.
• Work with Technology management to design, specify, and document LAN and wireless configurations according to user and customer needs.
• Keep wireless network devices and mobile devices up to date on patches and software devices.
• Provide support at grand openings at new centers, verify Wi-Fi turn up and heat mapping.
• Assist center offices as needed.
• Assist in planning for future strategy of networks and servers.
• Conduct research on various networks and products in support of development and procurement.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software for potential use in Tanger's network environment.
• Stay informed and knowledgeable on new and existing technologies.
• Collaborate with departments as needed to analyze networking, infrastructure and security needs for the company.
• Negotiate and work with outside vendors on new contracts and renewal contracts for products and services.
• Participate in configuration and maintenance of cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
• Provide information for and participate in budget process for annual networking budget.
• Train managers and users in mobile and wireless network functions and optimal utilization preparing necessary materials.
• Mentor team members on technical issues and provide strategic guidance.
