About The Position

The Manager of NERC Compliance & Coordination at Santee Cooper is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the NERC Compliance and Coordination group. This role involves providing leadership in developing and implementing compliance strategies and objectives related to NERC Reliability Standards, ensuring that all compliance obligations are met across various departments within the organization. The manager will also coordinate compliance audits and serve as the primary contact for external compliance inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 12 years of experience in a relevant field.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise activities within the NERC Compliance and Coordination department.
• Update and review department policies and procedures.
• Coordinate activities for NERC compliance audits, including processes and documentation.
• Manage responses to external and internal reliability compliance inquiries.
• Provide oversight and guidance to Santee Cooper groups with NERC compliance obligations.
• Track new or revised Reliability Standards and communicate them to appropriate personnel.
• Serve as the Primary Compliance Contact and liaison for Santee Cooper with SERC.
• Participate in the development of mitigation plans and settlement discussions.
• Manage the development, tracking, and reporting of the Capital and O&M budgets for the department.
• Assist units with NERC compliance responsibilities in developing internal controls.
