About The Position

The Neighborhood Partnerships Manager position at Feeding Tampa Bay provides support and assistance to the Director of Community Programs, the agency relations and distribution teams, and all areas of the organization. This role is instrumental in executing the department's strategy related to support, compliance, and customer service within the agency relations department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, accomplished, organized, collaborative, and positive, with experience in operations, logistics, customer service, compliance, program development, and capacity building. The manager will lead, grow, and develop a team of Neighborhood Partnership Coordinators, focusing on sustaining and creating relationships with over 300 member agencies and 600 retail stores to enhance agency distribution and retail donations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in customer service, project management, or program development.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Proven customer support experience, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety, food and product handling.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, manage/prioritize multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and ethical behavior, particularly when handling confidential information.
  • Flexibility to work some nights, weekends, and outdoors as needed to meet deadlines or organizational needs.
  • Ability to travel throughout the 10-county area.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with variable temperatures, humidity, and exposure to dust/dirt.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Windows, with the ability to learn and work within inventory database systems and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and interact professionally with all people in a friendly and calm manner.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Food Manager certification (or ability to acquire certification through provided training).
  • Commitment to understanding and supporting FTB's mission.
  • Current employees must be in good standing, with no active corrective actions on file.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent Agency Partner monitoring schedule and database with assigned agencies.
  • Maintain a consistent donor relations schedule with assigned donors.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate files of all Agency Partners and assigned donors.
  • Recommend new policies, procedures, and approaches for executing the department's strategy to build agency capacity, ensure agency compliance, and support agency distribution.
  • Maintain the USDA TEFAP & USDA CSFP program as it relates to agency relations, including compliance, contracts, and training.
  • Manage and supervise Neighborhood Partnership Coordinators including training, mentoring, and developing the team.
  • Increase FTB's agency network capacity of the Retail Rescue Program while overseeing and maintaining a consistent schedule of site visits to retail stores.
  • Ensure that each agency is compliant with FTB, state and local regulations by maintaining a consistent agency monitoring schedule focusing on food safety standards, training, and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic files of all partner agencies.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of FTB's agency network including gaps in service territory.
  • Oversee the management of agency accounts and manage the agency collection process when needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports in addition to tracking a variety of key performance indicators.
  • Conduct trainings, workshops, and/or conferences to assist and educate member agencies.
  • Respond in a timely manner to agency or donor requests for information, problems, situations, and inquiries.
  • Support individuals inquiring about food assistance or prospective agencies inquiring about membership opportunities.
  • Assist with evaluations of partner agencies and donors including overseeing any agency or donor data collection needed as well as compilation of requested reports.
  • Lead comprehensive management for Grants supporting the department, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required information and execution of deliverables.
  • Lead FTB distribution events, as needed.
  • Perform other related assignments, duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
