About The Position

The Manager at the Independent Movie Theater is responsible for overseeing all aspects of theater operations, ensuring superior customer service, and maintaining community relations. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various departments effectively while promoting a cooperative work environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years+ management experience is a must.
  • Experience managing at least 15 to 25 people.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Exceptional guest relations skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong computer, detail, and organizational skills.

  • Restaurant management experience
  • Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all facets of theatre operations.
  • Establish and maintain superior customer service and community relations.
  • Ensure that Company policies are communicated, implemented, and enforced.
  • Promote a spirit of cooperation within the location.
  • Maintain appropriate communications within and between various departments of the Company.
  • Ensure safety of employees, guests, and vendors by following safety practices and procedures, including inspections and follow-through.
  • Oversee annual budget for the location.
  • Conduct monthly Profit & Loss Analysis.
  • Responsible for weekly invoices, petty cash, concession inventories, ticket inventories, and all theatre funds.
  • Conduct theatre audits and monitor all theatre security and armored transport pickup and preparation.
  • Oversee the proper reporting of Incidents, Employee and Guest accidents.
  • Ensure training for all theatre systems is conducted.
  • Oversee all in-theatre marketing - trailers, standees, posters, etc.
  • Oversee the execution of theatre rentals and Game Machine operations, including repair and maintenance.
  • Responsible for all aspects of concessions, including increasing revenues and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure product quality and superior preparation at the concession stand.
  • Manage payroll, hiring, training, and developing staff and management.
  • Conduct annual/bi-annual performance reviews with staff and management team.
  • Oversee all repairs and maintenance to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise Information Technology maintenance and development.
