About The Position

The Outbound Channels team is seeking a Manager for Mobile Marketing & Channel Expansion to lead mobile app push notification strategies and explore new messaging channels and capabilities like WhatsApp and RBM. This role involves managing global marketing campaigns, optimizing engagement and conversion strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing technical readiness, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting budget planning.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Three or more years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on mobile channels
  • Strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems, push notification platforms, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead intake and prioritization of marketing campaigns across global markets in the Marriott digital ecosystem.
  • Develop and optimize messaging strategy to drive engagement, conversion, and retention, including mobile app push notifications, WhatsApp, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Loyalty, Digital, and Continent Marketing to align push efforts with broader business goals.
  • Partner with vendors and internal engineering teams to ensure technical readiness and compliance for channel expansion.
  • Monitor performance metrics and deliver insights to inform ongoing optimization.
  • Support budget planning and resource allocation for mobile messaging initiatives.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on mobile marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
