The Mobile Grinding/Wash Team has an excellent opportunity for Manager, Mobile Grind . Candidate can live in any state but must be willing to travel to jobsites located across the country based upon business need

Requirements

• Candidate should have experience with a span of control of at least 10 employees or more
• Prior experience managing employees from remote locations
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical skill set.
• Good communication skills
• Operates well individually or in a team environment
• Experience in operation of heavy equipment including: Forklifts, skid steers, telescoping material handlers, conveyors, trailers, and a variety of tools for repair and maintenance items.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and move heavy items to a height of 6 feet
• Ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
• Must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in extreme (hot or cold) temperatures
• You will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport material and finished goods
• Ability to use full range of body motion on a daily basis including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree or higher education preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mobile grind team remotely or at plant site depending on business need
• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods
• Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on production lines
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time) ALL Travel (airline, rental car, hotel) and meal expenses reimbursed
• Embrace a culture of safety. We expect our people to communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries immediately
• Maintain a safe working environment that includes the consistent use of Personal Protection Equipment to ensure your safety
• Assist with preventive maintenance program as required
• Completion of shift production and reporting paperwork
• Practice continuous improvement with regard to process, machine and jobsite housekeeping
