Visit the Bagdad town website to learn more. What You Will Do Oversee the management of the MIS functions at a number of different mine sites. Act as the main liaison between site MIS management and Corporate MIS management to roll-out MIS strategies and ensure alignment across the enterprise. The Manager makes sure each site has the MIS resources needed to support site operations and that issues are resolved on a timely basis. In addition, the Manager Regional IS is the escalation point for the Site Management Team. In this role, you manage MIS functions at geographically dispersed sites that may be spread across the country or in other countries and are responsible for the delivery and performance of MIS site services. As the Manager, you liaise with site General Managers and Site Management Teams to communicate MIS strategy, present status, and resolve issues, while driving adoption and advocating use of MIS technologies and processes. You will work closely with Corporate MIS Management to set MIS strategy, coordinate global project activities, resolve site MIS issues, and make personnel or role changes. You provide coaching and guidance by managing MIS Supervisors at assigned sites, coordinate with other Regional Managers to establish global MIS procedures and standards, review and approve project proposals to ensure resources meet timelines. You coordinate support with Project Managers to roll out technologies and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience in Information Systems, Desktop Management, Process Automation, or a related area
  • IT project management experience
  • Personnel management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing supervisors and/or managers in an MIS, IT, or operational technology environment.
  • Experience supporting mission‑critical systems in a 24/7 operational or industrial setting.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise IT and operational technology environments, including networks, systems integration, and infrastructure supporting production operations.
  • Experience developing and executing tactical and strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience or exposure to supporting MIS services related to Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS), system reliability, and safe production environments.
