Make a Difference The Manager oversees the daily functions of multiple departments within Medical Imaging and is located in Kokomo, Indiana.

Requirements

  • 2 year / Associate Degree and Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and/or Ultrasound Program. (required)
  • Certification/Licensure\: As dictated by imaging discipline. (Required)
  • 5+ years\: five years experience as an Imaging Technologist in a hospital setting. (required)

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1+ years\: One year of supervisory experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Adjusts patient schedules and staffing on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Responds to any patient care issue or complaint in a timely manner.
  • Develops and support a productive, positive, patient-focused work environment.
  • Evaluate employee performance with an objective annual written appraisal.
  • Hold regular staff meetings and follow-up on all issues and questions.
  • Understands financial reports and actively participates in budgetary process.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in dealing with change
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Utilizes radiation and magnetic field safety
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills which are appropriate to the patient’s age when performing exams
