Make a Difference The Manager oversees the daily functions of multiple departments within Medical Imaging and is located in Kokomo, Indiana.

Requirements

2 year / Associate Degree and Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and/or Ultrasound Program. (required)
Certification/Licensure\: As dictated by imaging discipline. (Required)
5+ years\: five years experience as an Imaging Technologist in a hospital setting. (required)

Nice To Haves

4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
1+ years\: One year of supervisory experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Adjusts patient schedules and staffing on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Responds to any patient care issue or complaint in a timely manner.
Develops and support a productive, positive, patient-focused work environment.
Evaluate employee performance with an objective annual written appraisal.
Hold regular staff meetings and follow-up on all issues and questions.
Understands financial reports and actively participates in budgetary process.
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility in dealing with change
Ability to prioritize effectively
Utilizes radiation and magnetic field safety
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills which are appropriate to the patient’s age when performing exams
