About The Position

Under the direction of the Imaging Director, the Manager of Medical Imaging is responsible for the daily activities of Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Ultrasound, and Support services. This role ensures diagnostic quality of procedures and supervises radiology services to enhance the smooth and efficient delivery of medical care to patients. The manager is responsible for all duties associated with the planning, progressive development, and operational efficiencies of the assigned area, supporting the department staffing plan. This includes coordinating all duties related to internal and external relationships with an emphasis on quality, financial stewardship, personnel, service excellence, growth, and a positive work environment. The manager is also responsible for development and oversight of staffing, capital and operating budgets, and future planning for assigned areas. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and communicating all technical protocols, training, quality, and procedures related to assigned areas and acting as a technical liaison as needed. The individual is responsible for ACR accreditation, ODH, and all regulatory compliance for assigned sections. Participation on hospital and department committees and other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director is also expected. The manager exercises professional judgment in the performance of their duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology.
  • Current registry by ARRT, RDMS and/or NMTCB.
  • Ohio Licensure if applicable.
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • 3 - 5 years of job-related experience.
  • 2 years of multi-modality leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director.
