About The Position

The Media Planning & Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and authoring the overarching media strategy and approach for assigned Brands across all paid media disciplines in partnership with the Media Agency. This includes areas such as Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Digital Audio, Digital & OTT Video, Outdoor, and various local media vehicles. The role involves working closely with Category Marketing teams to support each Brand's unique needs by delivering evaluations, recommendations, and the creation of performance-based media plans. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with the Insights & Analytics team, Digital analytics team, and agency to ensure comprehensive and consistent strategic media landscape insights, omni-channel performance reporting, ROAS, forecasting, and actionable test/learn results. The position also requires driving best practices and a test and learn agenda across Brands to enhance performance, ROI, and brand equity impact. Collaboration with Digital, CRM/Loyalty, Analytics, and Category Marketing teams is essential to ensure integrated media solutions, leveraging CRM databases, tracking digital traffic and conversion value, and integrating with the entire marketing mix. The manager will work with PR and Organic Social teams to maintain best practices in paid social media and manage all paid social media platforms' ad accounts. Furthermore, the role involves working with the in-house Creative team to ensure appropriate trafficking of creative assets and providing advice on paid media creative best practices. The Media Planning & Strategy Manager will support the internal Media Engine integrated planning approaches by managing cross-functional coordination and creating stakeholder communications for key priorities and roadmap projects. This role also includes creating and maintaining paid media education and inspiration for key internal stakeholders and managing external paid media vendor relationships to strive for best-in-class media solutions. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Media Planning & Strategy on the Category Marketing team and supports omni-channel media strategy, planning, buying, and measurement initiatives across the organization to deliver measurable revenue and brand equity.
