JOB PURPOSE Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data engineering solutions that power media measurement, analytics, and reporting. Partner with commercial, analytics, and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data products that enable data-driven decision-making across media and marketing. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Databricks, SQL, Python, PySpark, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience designing and managing large-scale data lakes and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proven experience in dashboard development and maintenance (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with media or marketing data sources (e.g., ad servers, DSPs, social platforms).
  • Experience integrating media data with analytics/reporting tools.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in consumer goods or media/advertising industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and operation of media data pipelines, data lakes, and integration with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Translate business and analytics requirements into robust, automated data solutions for media performance, campaign reporting, and advanced analytics.
  • Oversee the design, buildout, and ongoing maintenance of dashboards and data visualization tools to ensure stakeholders have timely, actionable insights.
  • Establish and maintain the semantic layer and data modeling framework for media data, ensuring consistency and self-service analytics.
  • Build and operationalize advanced analytic models (e.g., media mix modeling, attribution, audience segmentation) in partnership with analytics teams.
  • Oversee data quality, governance, and security for all media data assets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in media data engineering.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to expand data capabilities and support business growth.
