Rapidly growing Saab Inc. Land Systems division is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineering Manager with experience in weapon systems engineering design, production support, and functional discipline team management. The primary function of the role is to provide engineering functional management of the team of 5 or more mechanical engineers, some working remotely. The Mechanical Engineering Manager will collaborate with program management teams, division's chief engineer, human resources and other functions to support new developments, execution of existing programs, and technology transfers, as well as to assist with Land Systems' engineering organization growth and engineering alignment with the future business development. Travel is required, mainly domestic and some international. Currently the position is remote; relocation will be required to Detroit, MI area within 2025.
