About The Position

The Materials Management, AP, and Credentialing Manager, manages procurement of supplies, works as a buyer, maintains a monthly and annual budget with accountability for operational supply variance, develops inventory and par level systems for the Valley Health Survey Center (VHSC). Participates in case costing prior to scheduling at the VHSC, maintains vendor relationship and verification of cost to contract, works with billing company by submitting invoices for all billable items as carve out to facility fee. Maintains log of all human tissue tracking and is responsible for just in time supply management. This position reports to the Director of the VHSC and is responsible for supply management chain and procurement. Oversees Materials Management personnel and the ordering of routine medical and office supplies and implants for VHSC. Oversees all credentialing and privileging processes and functions and any associated personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with spreadsheet software required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines required
  • Accounting Certificate or equivalent experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Two years health care inventory and account payable experience preferred
  • Two years inventory control experience preferred
  • Prior experience with medical supplies preferred
