About The Position

The Master Data Management (MDM) Manager is responsible for leading the Master Data team and overseeing the governance, integrity, and strategic evolution of Globus Medical's master data across Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions. This role ensures consistent and accurate data standards, facilitates enterprise-wide data governance practices, and partners with IT, Business Intelligence, and operational stakeholders to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. The MDM Manager will establish policies, processes, and controls for data stewardship, while also mentoring and developing the MDM team to deliver reliable data that drives critical business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related fields, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM platforms (Informatica, SAP MDG, or equivalent) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Proven ability to define and implement data governance policies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business units (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, BI).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and drive change.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Master Data team.
  • Define and enforce master data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align MDM initiatives with organizational strategy.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of master data standards across domains.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through proactive monitoring, controls, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with IT and BI to optimize architecture and workflows.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
  • Oversee classification, enrichment, and harmonization of master data.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and dashboards on data quality metrics.
  • Support business reviews with accurate master data insights.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
