About The Position

The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer services. The Manager, Strategic Initiatives - ETS is responsible for leading Strategy, Analytics, Project Management, and Go-to-Market for critical initiatives driving growth of the ETS (Entertainment Toys and Seasonal) division within Walmart Marketplace. They work in close collaboration with Product Management, Content Operations, Seller Performance, Trust & Safety, Compliance, Strategic Account Management, and Business Development, among others, to help define and launch frictionless seller and customer experiences that drive business growth. Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience in Business Management, Product, Marketing, Program Management, Merchandising, Finance, Analytics, or a related area.
  • E-Commerce and/or E-Commerce Marketplace experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with project management ways of working.
  • Ability to analyze business and present data clearly to highlight insights and actionable recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a retail marketplace.
  • Experience in electronics, toys, and/or seasonal product categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Assertive, adaptable, and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Business Cases and Strategy for New Initiatives in partnership with account managers.
  • Analyze and Optimize Existing Initiatives by partnering with seller planning teams to analyze KPIs.
  • Drive Go-to-Market Approach for New Launches by collaborating with various teams.
  • Set an example in managing to KPIs and developing high-quality presentations.
  • Champion change and evolution, persuade through use of data and facts.
