About The Position

The Manager of Marketing Research at Spectrum Reach is responsible for overseeing the analytics function within the Strategy and Analytics team. This role involves managing a Data Analyst and leading key marketing and research initiatives. The position focuses on enhancing data-supported insights to support product positioning and drive innovation within the team and across various stakeholders. The manager will collaborate closely with the Insights Manager to produce research thought leadership pieces that establish Spectrum Reach as an industry innovator.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of integrated Marketing, Agency, Media and/or Ad Sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert in Media Math and applicable industry software (Nielsen, Comscore, Scarborough, etc.).
  • Microsoft Excel expertise.
  • SQL experience.
  • Expertise in Nielsen, Google Analytics, Comscore, Scarborough, MRI, Kantar, BIA/Kelsey, and eMarketer.

Nice To Haves

  • General understanding of Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience managing large datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the analytics side of the Strategy and Analytics team.
  • Propose and lead Marketing/Research tentpole initiatives.
  • Develop and implement procedural improvements to the analytics practice.
  • Drive innovation and automation efforts within the MR&I team and for cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with the Insights Manager to execute research thought leadership pieces.
  • Support product positioning by enhancing the quality of data-supported insights.
  • Utilize analytics and data visualization to support decision making and storytelling.
  • Develop product and research-specific communication plans in collaboration with cross-functional groups.
  • Liaise between various teams to assist in activation and development cycles.
  • Facilitate communications between stakeholders regarding product maintenance and feature enhancements.
  • Support the construction and training for sales strategies and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on projects to provide updates to marketing leadership.
  • Audit reporting and dashboards through usage tracking and evaluations.
  • Interact with external vendors and partners as needed.
