About The Position

This role provides an exciting opportunity to drive market engagement and product adoption across the South Central region. The Manager, Market Development will lead initiatives that strengthen stakeholder relationships, increase membership and sponsorship, and advance community programs. Working closely with regional teams and cross-functional departments, the role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to achieve measurable growth. You will represent the organization in local markets, cultivating partnerships and enhancing visibility, while contributing to the broader mission of promoting sustainability and innovation. This position requires a dynamic professional capable of managing multiple priorities and events, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships and driving impact in target markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales, commercial real estate, sustainability, or market development
  • Demonstrated success in event planning, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
  • Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and building strategic partnerships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Cvent, PowerBI, and Canva
  • Strong relationship-building, organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred, or willingness to obtain within 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Lead market engagement initiatives to increase adoption of sustainability programs and products
  • Plan, execute, and oversee community events, sponsorships, and market development campaigns
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with members, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Serve as staff lead for advisory boards and committees, supporting regional collaboration
  • Develop and manage budgets for community programs and revenue-generating activities
  • Generate content for newsletters, websites, and social media to communicate market impact
  • Track, monitor, and report on financial performance and program outcomes
