About The Position

This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the Hims & Hers customer journey by enabling and optimizing the technology that powers our lifecycle marketing programs. As MarTech Operations manager, you’ll be a power user of our marketing automation platform (Braze) and play a critical role in building, scaling, and optimizing sophisticated customer journeys across multiple channels—including email, SMS, push, web, and in-app—and supporting expansion into emerging channels like direct mail. In this technical and collaborative role, you’ll own discovery, documentation, development, QA, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting for complex, data-driven lifecycle programs. You’ll also partner closely with product and engineering teams to design, request, and troubleshoot technical data streams that enable seamless, personalized customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2C/DTC industries with hands-on marketing automation expertise.
  • Experience working with top-tier ESPs; Braze experience strongly preferred.
  • Background in highly regulated industries (healthcare, insurance, banking) is a plus.
  • Proven success executing and scaling complex, multi-channel campaigns (email/SMS/push).
  • Understanding of event-based triggers, customer actions, and user profiles.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Liquid templating, and conditional logic.
  • Comfort working across multiple teams, platforms, and systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own CRM QA, platform maintenance, and execution of high-priority campaigns, including testing and deployment.
  • Monitor marketing journeys, ensuring operational health and rapid resolution of issues or failures.
  • Partner with lifecycle managers and data teams to build robust and scalable journeys that deliver measurable impact.
  • Contribute to platform evaluations, onboardings, and migrations to maintain a cutting-edge marketing tech stack.
  • Create and refine documentation, SOPs, and training materials to enable consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Uphold best practices while continuously identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and campaign efficiency.
