About The Position

This position involves supervising all functions related to facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and managing the maintenance labor budget. You will ensure compliance with timelines and quality for external construction projects while fostering a positive labor relations environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a large distribution center or manufacturing environment.
  • Technically proficient in the care and maintenance of distribution conveyor and sortation systems.
  • Ability to review and critique schematic diagrams.
  • 5 years of proven supervisory skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art distribution systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Detailed understanding of OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in PC skills including CMMS software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all maintenance functions for the distribution center and hotels.
  • Train and develop maintenance personnel across a 3-shift operation.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all operating equipment and enforce preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Respond to critical maintenance issues throughout the distribution center property.
  • Review Facility Work Requests and prioritize workflow.
  • Track equipment downtime and preventative maintenance status, producing electronic reports.
  • Manage maintenance supplies while minimizing inventory levels.
  • Oversee janitorial services throughout the distribution center and hotels.
  • Review and enact changes for budget compliance in various service accounts.
  • Coordinate all construction projects and internal changes to facilities and equipment.
  • Generate Capitol Expense Requests and coordinate projects using internal and external resources.
  • Participate in the safety committee to address safety issues.
