The Loan Administration Manager will be responsible for managing the loan administration support that may be comprised of loan origination, loan accounting, loan servicing, construction monitoring, and international trade for Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Business Banking, Small Business, Private Banking, and Consumer. The Loan Administration teams are in a fast-paced deadline driven environment that supports the entire UMB footprint while ensuring consistent delivery of the Unparalleled Customer Experience. How you’ll spend your time: You will onboard, supervise, support, and coach associates to ensure quality standards and service level agreements are consistently met. You will drive performance of direct reports by setting clear expectations and providing timely and constructive feedback; Develop direct reports actively and lead by example. You will build partnerships and interact with Bankers, other departments, and teams within Loan Administration to promote teamwork and communication; Act as a liaison with external partners-Loan Review, Regulators and internal/external audit staff. You will ensure that associates are trained on all regulatory requirements associated with Commercial and/or Consumer Lending and complete UMB compliance training for their role. You will work collaboratively and proactively with senior leadership to identify, design, and implement workflow enhancements that increase efficiency, quality and risk mitigation.
