About The Position
The Manager, Linehaul at XPO is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the linehaul team. This role involves collaborating with direct reports and departmental teams to achieve goals and performance targets, driving results through leadership and clear communication, and creating continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability. The manager will participate in establishing strategic plans with senior management, develop IT solutions, BI reports, and work with third-party transportation providers. The position requires strategic leadership and direction for the assigned area, managing multiple teams, and overseeing projects that impact business unit strategy. The manager will also review network design and apply modifications as needed, while building and maintaining partnerships with third-party transportation providers.
