About The Position

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manage legal technology and workflows User management, training, process flows, site admin, data stewardship, etc. (E.g., RFP, e-Billing, CLM, and legal hold platforms and systems) Support the design, deployment, and implementation of new technology Process improvement initiatives Bias towards AI and automation for repeatable tasks Identify opportunities to simplify, increase speed, or improve outcomes Oversee budgeting, spend management, and resource planning Main point of contact for Finance team Management of e-billing platform including invoice processing and accruals Management and enforcement of billing guidelines for outside counsel Manage vendor relationships and engagement Law firm engagement letters, onboarding, and matter management Technology vendor management Dues and subscriptions Support contract management and lifecycle processes CLM contract intake process, processing, execution, and repository Drive knowledge management Oversight of team SharePoint site Reporting and data analytics Dashboards, KPIs, metrics, trends reporting, etc.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree required
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, ideally in a corporate legal environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of legal industry tools and technology as well as legal operations systems and processes (e-billing, matter management, CLM)
  • Project management experience, technology and systems implementation experience a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in written communication
  • Comfort with legal tech and basic understanding of AI tools to streamline tasks
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical skills; thrives on overcoming obstacles
  • Effective multitasking and project management in fast-paced environments
  • Tech-savvy and eager to leverage automation and efficiency tools
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a global, multicultural team
  • Highly adaptable and flexible to work extended hours when required
  • Self-motivated, proactive, organized, curious, and resourceful
  • Ability to work full-time during core business hours in a hybrid work arrangement with 3-4 days per week in the Coherent office
  • Ability to work extended hours (early morning, evening, or weekend), when necessary
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, when necessary
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time.
