About The Position

Visa Direct is seeking a Manager, Learning & Development to design and produce digital‑first, visually rich, and highly engaging learning experiences. This role is hands‑on and creation‑focused, with a strong emphasis on motion graphics, animation, and the use of AI-powered tools to build scalable, modern learning solutions. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller, learning/instructional designer, and creative problem solver who excels at translating complex, fast‑evolving topics into clear, compelling, and learner‑centered experiences. You are equally comfortable designing learning architecture as you are producing animated explainers, short‑form videos, interactive content, and AI‑enhanced learning assets.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 1 year of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA).
  • 4–5 or more years of experience in motion graphics/video creation and learning experience design.
  • Strong hands on experience with Articulate 360 and/or Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience creating multimedia learning content, including video, animation, and interactive assets.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Work samples may be requested.
  • Familiarity or experience using timeline based media creation tools.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills across multiple learning formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical, or incomplete source material into clear, learner focused content.
  • Strong AI fluency, with experience using AI tools for learning design and content creation.
  • Demonstrated interest in continuously learning and applying new tools, technologies, and AI enabled approaches.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end‑to‑end learning experiences for technology and sales audiences, delivering clear, narrative‑driven, learner‑centered content from complex and evolving material.
  • Create high‑quality digital learning assets across formats, including eLearning modules, written and scenario‑based content, video, animation, and interactive experiences.
  • Produce and edit video‑based learning content, including screen recordings, explainer videos, and animated assets using motion graphics and timeline‑based media tools.
  • Apply motion design and animation (e.g., After Effects or similar tools) to enhance storytelling, clarity, and learner engagement.
  • Leverage AI tools throughout the learning lifecycle—from ideation, scripting, and storyboarding to visual concepts, assessment creation, and rapid iteration—and thoughtfully embed AI into learning experiences.
  • Build and refine learning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Stay current on learning experience design trends, digital learning technologies, and AI advancements.
  • Contribute ideas that evolve the team’s learning standards, templates, and development workflows.
