As the Manager, Learning and Development (Augmented Reality), you will spearhead the creation and implementation of cutting-edge AR-based learning solutions to empower Walmart associates.   • Lead the planning, development, and execution of Augmented Reality learning projects from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely delivery.
  • Drive the strategy for AR learning initiatives, aligning with Walmart U.S. Learning's vision and business goals.
  • Oversee vendor selection, management, and partnership development for AR solutions.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and adoption of AR learning experiences.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in educational technology, especially within Extended Reality, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all AR learning products comply with Walmart's standards for accessibility, security, and data privacy.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Project Management, or Educational Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects, preferably in AR, VR, or similar immersive technologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development best practices.
  • Experience with AR development tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, ARKit, ARCore) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization or retail environment is preferred.
