Participates in planning, organizing, documenting, and providing technical and quality performance services for aspects of testing performed at point of care sites and laboratories across BMHCC. Provides technical consultation and standardizes laboratory policies and procedures for use by clinical staff. This may include oversight of testing personnel performance and adherence to SOPs; development and implementation of new procedures, methods, and instrumentation; maintaining and/or improving the quality of work performed, within the framework of compliance with all applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements including Joint Commission standards, CLIA standards, COLA standards, and College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines.
