Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager, Laboratory - Blood Bank - Full Time, Days - Clinical Labs-Blood Bank - - Monday - Friday w. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for managing quality and quantity of work, procedures, personnel, and costs for the clinical laboratory. Formulate goals, assign objectives, establish standards of practice, and ensure continuity of services. Supervises and ensures the proper performance of all techniques and procedures associated with clinical laboratory testing. The Blood Bank Manager will be working with the Laboratory Administrative Director in guiding the Blood Bank Department. The manager will also be working with the Blood Bank Supervisor in instruments validation, quality control monitoring, and review of patients results. The manager will also be responsible for training and teaching students and laboratory staff members. The manager will monitor quality, recognize testing errors, and detect and resolve problematic specimens. Disseminates clinical laboratory test information to clinicians. Evaluates clinical laboratory testing for each patient. Recognizes the need to incorporate new methodologies, instrumentation, and tests as they relate to current trends and needs. This position is an upgrade of the Blood Bank Assistant Supervisor position that was opened for a long period and is still challenging to recruit for. This position will be flexible hours between the day and evening shift.
