About The Position

Join our leadership team at UW Health as a Manager of Lab Services - Integrated Hematology. In this full-time position, you will lead our second largest technical area within the UW Health lab system, mentoring a team that performs over 60,000 tests for nearly 18,000 unique patients each month. You will support five separate technical areas, four faculty directors, and 25 staff members. This role is based at University Hospital in Madison, WI, with core working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Five years of relevant laboratory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or Lab related technical area.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a lab or clinical setting.
• Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnologist, Specialist in Cytotechnology, Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, Technologist in Blood Bank, Specialist in Blood Bank, Phlebotomist, or Diplomate in Laboratory Management.
