About the position

The IT Optimization Manager at Radiology Partners is responsible for enhancing the efficiency, performance, and scalability of the IT infrastructure and systems. This role involves managing the IT Optimization Team, leading cross-functional projects, and implementing best practices to support business growth while reducing costs. The ideal candidate will work closely with various internal teams to identify areas for optimization and ensure that IT operations align with business objectives, ultimately delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT Optimization Team to implement strategies for improving system performance and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Application and IT specialists focused on optimization.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to align optimization efforts with business goals.
• Identify inefficiencies in IT operations and propose solutions to streamline processes.
• Lead initiatives to automate tasks and improve resource utilization across IT services.
• Oversee Service Now Problem Ticket management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Implement performance monitoring tools to track system performance and identify improvement areas.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities within the IT infrastructure.
• Act as a liaison between IT and other service lanes for collaboration and optimization.
• Provide guidance and training on optimization techniques and best practices.
• Manage optimization projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations in optimization efforts.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in IT management with a focus on system performance and optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in health information systems or related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Healthcare experience, particularly in radiology, is favored.
• Strong customer focus and ability to develop IT solutions based on customer needs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and implement solutions.
• Leadership and team management experience, including mentoring staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to identify improvement areas.
• Experience in customizing solutions at the client level is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PACS, worklist products, and Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting VPN tunnel configurations.
• Familiarity with advanced visualization and AI platforms in imaging workflow.
