Our Manager, IT Infrastructure, plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include managing and executing the day-to-day task of maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing networking and ancillary equipment. As a senior member of the IT Infrastructure team, you will manage all IT Infrastructure requirements in the office; in addition, providing remote assistance to other locations. You will be expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for escalated problems as well as lead and execute IT projects in areas of Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Security, and Laboratory Environments across the Enterprise. What The Manager, IT Infrastructure Does Each Day: Manages the IT team and ensures all resources are working optimally. Provides coaching and performance evaluation of local IT resources. Plans, acquires, and coordinates installation of in-house hardware and software across the organization. Recommends desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment. Maintains and stewards a budget for desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment assigned by Director, IT Infrastructure. Analyzes processes employed by QuVa Pharma to utilize, design, implement, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain technology strategies, desktops, laptops, and ancillary equipment to meet business needs and improve client interaction. Plans, designs, coordinates, implements, and evaluates Information Technology training programs; assesses and analyzes training needs. Recommends policies and procedures that pertain to desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment utilization and IT Security. Researches, evaluates, tests, and recommends software applications. Advises staff on technology and IT security issues and planning. Evaluates, plans, tests, and implements desktop and laptop system security and auditing. Educates and promotes knowledge sharing / cross training within the infrastructure team. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and associated plans for network resource administration and appropriate use. Conducts research and makes recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. Manages and ensures optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, etc. Manages and ensures effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. Tests server performance and provides network performance statistics and reports; develops strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
