About The Position

The Manager, IT Infrastructure - Americas, plays a crucial role in ensuring the stable operation of BAC's information technology infrastructure. This position reports to the Global Director of IT and leads the Americas IT Infrastructure team, supporting current technology and driving improvements and expansions. Collaborating with business process owners, the Manager works closely with the Manager of Business Applications and European headquarters peers to implement new systems and enhance existing ones that underpin BAC's business processes across our four major facilities in the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate strategic plans, goals, and objectives for BAC's IT infrastructure team.
  • Collaborate with the EU IT Infrastructure Manager to craft a comprehensive infrastructure roadmap for BAC and execute within the region.
  • Oversee the architecture, design, delivery, and maintenance of BAC's IT infrastructure, aligning technology with business processes to enhance operational performance.
  • Lead the coaching and mentoring of the Americas infrastructure team, fostering a high-performance, cross-functional team.
  • Promote a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement through mentoring, constructive feedback, and data-driven performance metrics.
  • Develop customer-centric Service Management metrics to inform stakeholders about the team's progress.
  • Continuously develop and enforce the company's infrastructure guidelines, guiding the team to propose technical solutions that meet business unit needs.
  • Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute roadmaps, project plans, and commitments, leading multiple simultaneous IT projects and initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Oversee the North American IT infrastructure budget, diligently tracking expenses and investments to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with peers at Amsted sister entities to align on cybersecurity strategy and execute agreed initiatives ensuring strong regional controls.
