Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with EDR/MDR Tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with Email Security Tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with SIEM Tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with security frameworks.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems/Network Administrator.

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or similar certifications.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, web application security, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Intune, Checkpoint Email Security, Action1, Cisco Umbrella, Sonicwall).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the cybersecurity architecture ensuring the protection of the company’s information systems, networks, and data.
  • Develop and implement security policies, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.
  • Coordinate with HR to define and manage the components of comprehensive security policies and procedures for the company.
  • Collaborate with other IT functions to integrate security controls and ensure that all security measures are embedded into systems and processes.
  • Manage the overall security posture, ensuring the protection of networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access, cyber-attacks, and data breaches.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to mitigate risks, prevent incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and manage cybersecurity risks across the organization.
  • Architect, plan, configure, deploy, maintain, and upgrade toolsets to address vulnerabilities and/or implement security controls.
  • Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting and audit requirements.
  • Point of contact for the incident response process, from detection to mitigation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and manage remediation efforts after security incidents or breaches.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports for senior management.
  • Monitor security alerts and events from various sources.
  • Respond to security events and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on security best practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
