About The Position

The Manager, IT Cloud Infrastructure, will lead the design, development, and operation of scalable cloud infrastructure to support business growth and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for driving technical strategy, team development, and operational rigor.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing cloud infrastructure or platform teams.
  • Strong technical acumen in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure automation, and cloud-native system architectures.
  • Experience managing large-scale production environments, ensuring reliability, uptime, and operational excellence.
  • Expertise with infrastructure as code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels and represent the team in leadership forums.
  • Strategic problem solving with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, implement best practices, and promote a continuous improvement culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in people management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of cloud infrastructure engineers.
  • Set technical direction, prioritize project initiatives, and align infrastructure strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Champion automation, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and enforce robust processes for resource provisioning, access management, deployment, security, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure the team upholds high-quality, system performance, and resilience standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and representation in cross-functional forums and in collaboration with key stakeholders to convey team priorities, challenges, and successes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in release, deployment, and operational workflows using modern DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Lead a team that develops, maintains, and enhances the organization's observability platform and practices.
  • Oversee resource allocation to maximize operational and financial efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, professional development, and innovation within the team.
  • Manage the team's scrum stories, ensuring that all cloud infrastructure projects are properly scoped, prioritized, and tracked through agile methodologies.
