About The Position

The Role The FI Organization is seeking a Manager, Investment Analysis with knowledge of multiple developed asset classes (e.g., equity, fixed income), the competitive landscape, and practice management concepts. This role will partner with other team members in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business objectives, while uncovering trends and executing on opportunities where data and information can provide insight into investment solutions. Having a background as an analyst is useful, but strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are crucial to deliver decision-making materials to team members. The Team Fidelity Institutional provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide including wirehouses, regionals and independent broker/dealers, bank, trust companies, and insurance companies. The company offers Fidelity Advisor Funds, Variable Insurance Products (VIP) Portfolios, Fidelity Advisor 529 Plans, Systematic Investment Plans, Institutional Money Market funds, and a comprehensive line of retirement products and services in partnership with Fidelity’s Workplace Investing arm. Our clients are financial institutions and investment professionals (IPs). Our goal is to help our clients grow their business so that we can increase our assets under management, and our market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of data analysis experience, preferably some in products/investments
  • Maintains strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are critical to success
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of various market-, competitor-, and client-research techniques and industry data sources (FactSet, Morningstar) used to advise strategic decisions

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/CFA, or progress towards, desirable
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses desirable

  • Leading the creation of core content for prospecting clients
