Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, operational management, operations research or engineering.
  • 4+ years of confirmed experience in fields of the Supply Chain, Airline or Manufacturing Industry.
  • Microsoft office, knowledge of relational database models, strong modeling skills, proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong people skills and ability to develop internal and external relationships.
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with proven track record of implementing innovative solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple and competing priorities.
  • Keen sense of curiosity, high learning agility, business acumen, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, thought leader with a bias towards action and team focused.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic initiatives across inventory management and supply chain.
  • Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control.
  • Manage key strategic projects for supply chain including supply chain parts investments, implementing inventory policies, creating and tracking supply chain metrics as well as benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Conduct regular budget reviews as necessary to maintain cost control and support financial goals.
  • Analyze and establish system protection levels that support operations at the least total cost.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and prepare detailed reports on performance against plan.
  • Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Improve operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out of service events, delays and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft parts.
  • Evaluate demand sources, supplier capabilities, strength and weaknesses of existing Supply Chain.
