About The Position

The International Tax team helps clients navigate complex global tax regulations with expert guidance and tailored strategies. We offer comprehensive services-including global tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and mobility support-for both inbound and outbound multinational companies. With deep expertise and a forward-thinking approach, we deliver solutions that keep pace with today's dynamic international tax landscape. What You Will Do: Deliver sophisticated cross-border tax engagements, ensuring strategic alignment with global business objectives and regulatory frameworks. Provide mentorship and oversight to junior team members, conducting rigorous reviews of technical deliverables to ensure precision and completeness. Advise multinational clients on complex international tax planning, compliance obligations, and optimal structuring strategies to enhance tax efficiency. Analyze and apply key provisions of U.S. international tax reform-including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Section 163(j), and Section 199A-within the context of evolving global tax landscapes. Lead high-impact client meetings and executive-level status calls, delivering actionable insights and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders. Manage responses to tax authority inquiries, ensuring robust documentation and defensible positions aligned with regulatory expectations. Oversee IC-DISC administration and export incentive planning, driving value through targeted tax savings opportunities. Conduct in-depth research on jurisdictional tax laws to identify potential risks and uncover strategic opportunities for clients. Design and implement advanced quantitative models and leverage data analytics to address complex client challenges and support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
  • 4.5+ years of experience in public accounting tax or international tax
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current and valid CPA, JD, or LLM
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. international tax provisions and compliance standards

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
  • Experience with other large accounting firms or large corporate tax department of a multinational company
  • Experience with IC-DISCs
  • Experience with GoSystem Tax RS and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE
