About The Position
The Manager, Internal Communications, is responsible for the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies for enterprise clients and corporate initiatives. This role will provide consultative and/or direct communications support to internal clients, ensuring timely, consistent communications and messaging to colleagues across the organization using multiple communication channels including but not limited to email, intranet, video, webinars and meetings. This role will be expected to develop comprehensive communications, project plans and effectively manage those deliverables. This role will embrace and deliver Webster Bank brand values in everyday interaction, serving as an ambassador of our culture. This role will have the opportunity to influence our colleague experience, deepen colleague engagement, improve processes and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate embraces collaboration, takes initiative, invites change and actively seeks to create new ways to challenge the status quo. Additionally, this role consistently improves communications effectiveness by employing a sophisticated use of data and analytics for internal client projects, and by staying informed on functional best practice and innovation. The role reports to the Managing Director, Internal Communications.
