The Marketing Manager - Integrated Media Strategy at Ally Financial is responsible for developing and executing media strategies and plans that align with the company's communications architecture. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external media agencies to ensure effective media campaigns that meet reach, frequency, and conversion goals. The position requires a strong focus on audience segmentation, innovative media solutions, and data-driven decision-making to adapt to changing consumer media habits.

  • Build integrated campaign briefs in collaboration with Advertising and Brand team managers.
  • Lead development of media strategies and tactical plans.
  • Ensure that foundational, emerging, and experimental media campaigns are executed as a holistic media strategy.
  • Manage visibility media moments and key media partnerships on behalf of Ally.
  • Connect holistic plans between internal digital media teams and external media agencies.
  • Attend key planning/status meetings and keep projects moving forward at a quick pace.
  • Partner with the Content team on distribution strategies and publisher media plans.
  • Use data and insights to identify areas of opportunity and optimize strategic plans in-flight.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and provide input on innovation in the media space.
  • Build and present presentations, including recommendations and plan summaries for leadership.
  • Be a key stakeholder in measurement and analytics, ensuring that measurement plans are integrated into media planning.
  • Manage budget in conjunction with the internal operations team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, and/or Advertising preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a media role or media agency required.
  • Experience in integrated cross-channel media planning, with emphasis on digital.
  • Experience with in-show integration and contract negotiation preferred.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organization.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and cross-functional relationship building.
  • Knowledge of financial services business a plus.
  • Experience with audience segmentation and go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with media consumption trends and performance data.
