Pay Range: $69,800.00 - $114,800.00 Position Summary: The Manager, Inside Sales – ASD leads a team of Service Sales Specialists responsible for driving Instrument S ervice sales and supporting the Americas region for Bio-Techne’s Analytical Solutions Division. Th is role oversees daily operations, ensures achievement of sales goals, develops team capabilities, and collaborates cross-functionally to support pipeline generation, forecasting, and customer engagement. The manager applies business insight, coaches performance, and identifies opportunities to improve processes and sales execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years relevant experience; management / leadership experience highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and customer engagement strategies in a technical or scientific commercial environment.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and guide employees at varying experience levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pipelines, KPI performance, and business trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across f unctions.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain organized, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of Instrument Service Sales Specialists, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Set clear performan ce expectations, manage schedules, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Monitor individual and team sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasting accuracy; guide the team in achieving service sales quotas.
  • Oversee and refine lead qualification processes, outbound and inbound outreach strategies, and customer engagement best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with field sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to align on campaigns, me ssaging, and lead management.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to guide team strategy and prioritize business development efforts.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and customer interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policy, accurate CRM documentation, and timely reporting.
  • Represent the Inside Sales organization in cross-functional meetings and support interdepartmental initiatives.
