About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse (RN) responsible for leading and managing the Inpatient Nursing Services departments. Success in this role involves ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement and patient safety. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with physicians, staff, and healthcare professionals to implement best practices and align nursing services with the organization’s strategic goals. Requirements

  • Current California Registered Nursing (RN) Licensure required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Support (ACLS) Certification required
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required, or in process within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of five years of RN experience in an acute care setting required
  • Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Leadership and Team Management – The ability to lead, motivate, and inspire nursing staff while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Clinical Expertise – Strong clinical knowledge and experience in nursing practice, particularly in ICU, Med Surg, and Telemetry settings, to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Budget and Resource Management – Proficiency in managing departmental budgets, staffing levels, and resources to optimize operations while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
