About The Position

We are looking for a strong Integration & Interoperability leader to drive technical and operational excellence across our integration landscape. This role will be critical as we move into a more architecture-driven model, including upcoming InterSystems implementation and broader modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical depth, execution leadership, and stakeholder management, and will be responsible for ensuring reliable, scalable, and well-aligned integration solutions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in integration technologies (HL7, FHIR, APIs, interface engines such as Mirth/Rhapsody/InterSystems)
  • Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability
  • Experience leading technical discussions and driving architectural decisions
  • Proven ability to manage delivery across multiple projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical engagement with leadership responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide hands-on leadership in integration architecture and design
  • Drive technical alignment across teams, vendors, and platforms (e.g Mirth, Rhapsody and InterSystems)
  • Review and guide solution design for scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Partner closely with architects and engineers to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Delivery & Execution:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of integration initiatives
  • Ensure clear tracking of deliverables, dependencies, and risks
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting timelines or quality
  • Establish strong execution discipline and accountability across the team
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a key point of contact for business and technology stakeholders
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities, progress, and risks
  • Align cross-functional teams on integration strategy and execution
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and support a team of integration engineers and analysts
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture
  • Operational Ownership:
  • Maintain visibility into ongoing projects, risks, and dependencies
  • Oversee operational aspects including vendor coordination, contracts, and key deliverables
  • Ensure documentation, tracking, and reporting are well maintained
