About The Position

The Manager of Infection Prevention at Sutter Health is responsible for leading the Infection Prevention and Control Program across multiple facilities. This role ensures compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and internal policies. The manager will standardize processes, deploy strategic goals for infection control, and evaluate initiatives to optimize resource use while aligning with the organization's mission and strategic plan.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, Education, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• 8 years of recent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CMS, TJC, IMQ, and other healthcare-related infection control accreditation standards.
• Ability to analyze information and develop actionable plans.
• Strong delegation and multitasking abilities.
• Advanced computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid knowledge of infection prevention and control functions and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program across Sutter Health facilities.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and hospital policies.
• Standardize infection control processes across facilities.
• Deploy strategic goals for infection control through planning and prioritization.
• Develop and implement operational initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Communicate departmental objectives and align them with hospital programs and services.
