About The Position
As a Manager – BCG Vantage in a Client Focus role within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets such as products, tools, domain-specific data, workshops, frameworks. You will contribute to proposals and cases through thought partnership in your area of expertise, deliver original analyses and insights helping drive strong impact with clients. Occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions. You will support commercialization efforts for the sector, working with business leaders to provide insights and advice for proposals and client workshops. Additionally, as a Manager – BCG Vantage, you will lead the development of intellectual property and assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues. As a heavy emitter of CO2, the metals sector is under significant pressure to decarbonize. Many metal-producing industries, especially steel, need to fundamental change how and where they produce. The availability of raw materials and the recovery of metals through recycling are becoming increasingly important. Far-reaching decisions must be made now, taking into account technology maturity and investment needs, access to renewable energy and green hydrogen, geopolitical turbulence, the ability to capture green metal demand, and price premiums.
