About The Position

The Manager in Training at Pick N Pull Auto Dismantlers is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, vehicle production, customer care, and personnel management. This role ensures compliance with safety and environmental policies while driving store performance and developing future leaders within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience in the automotive field preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Solid quantitative skills to understand store financial performance and operating statistics.
  • Ability to reconcile sales, prepare reports, and read technical manuals.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of store operations including sales, vehicle production, customer care, and personnel.
  • Ensure the store operates safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to adhere to safety policies.
  • Promote a clean and safe store environment for employees and customers.
  • Manage, train, and develop Managers in Training, Assistant Managers, Sales Managers, Production Managers, and Vehicle Purchasing Agents.
  • Responsible for staffing levels, delegating duties, and scheduling work hours.
  • Attract, screen, hire, retain, and develop employees through performance planning and evaluation.
  • Drive store performance by optimizing sales, production, and vehicle purchasing.
  • Manage financial performance by understanding and acting on monthly financial statements.
  • Establish community relationships to enhance the Pick-n-Pull brand.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at the store level.
  • Prepare operating reports for the Regional Director and administrative office.
  • Ensure compliance with sales transactions and cash management procedures.
  • Safeguard company assets and partner with corporate support resources.
