About The Position

Join our team as a Store Manager in Training (MIT) and learn how to lead retail operations from the ground up. You’ll build the skills to run a successful, customer-focused convenience store, while growing your career with a company that invests in you. If you're passionate about leadership, service, and retail operations, this is your opportunity to earn, learn, and grow. This is a transitional position. Store Managers in Training are expected to move into a leadership role within the company after completing the training program.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Our stores require open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state.
A proven history of exceptional customer service.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Legal age to stock and sell regulated products.
Strong attention to detail and a history of being self-motivated.
A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a smile and top-tier service.
Lead and develop store staff through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
Monitor store financials, sales, and cash/inventory handling.
Oversee product ordering, delivery reconciliation, and inventory levels.
Drive sales through effective foodservice and merchandising management.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (alcohol, tobacco, lottery, etc.).
Participate in leadership meetings and hold effective team huddles.
Uphold Jacksons standards, policies, and procedures.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
