At Green Acres, we bring together individuals who are passionate about people, plants, and service. This hands-on training position prepares you to oversee daily operations, lead teams, and drive store performance.

Position Summary
The Manager in Training partners with store leadership to learn all aspects of retail operations, including customer service, sales performance, inventory management, and team development. This role is designed to prepare you for advancement into a management position.

Requirements

• Retail or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership potential and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Plant and garden knowledge preferred
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model exceptional customer service
• Support sales growth and achievement of store goals
• Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Learn inventory control, receiving, transfers, and loss prevention
• Maintain merchandising standards and overall store presentation
• Support labor management and daily operational procedures
• Assist with opening/closing duties and daily deposits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
