About The Position

Starting Salary up to $65,000 a year! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our retail location. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong track record of achieving sales goals, and outstanding leadership abilities. This role is responsible for all aspects of store performance—including staffing, training and development, sales growth, account retention, and operational excellence. The Store Manager plays a critical role in driving profitability, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and maintaining full compliance with company policies and procedures. Bilingual candidates may qualify for additional pay based on role requirements and proficiency. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in retail or a customer-focused role involving collections, account maintenance, service, or related duties preferred.
  • Preferred 3 years’ experience managing a staff of 3-5 employees
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation and all required internal training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and conflict resolution, to support clear and professional interactions with customers and team members
  • Strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency to manage tasks, maintain accurate records, and process transactions efficiently
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and explain account retention processes effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required to perform essential job duties such as reading work instructions, communicating with team members and customers, and completing documentation accurately.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record that is insurable by our provider and be willing to travel regularly for customer visits.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds independently, and to handle heavier items with team assistance or by using appropriate safety equipment such as appliance carts, furniture dollies, forklift straps, or furniture sliders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate staffing levels through the creation of a 4-week schedule and accurate payroll record-keeping.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Partner with the District Manager (DM) to conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
  • Oversee team training programs and ensure all required certifications are completed on time.
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks, offering guidance and feedback to uphold operational best practices.
  • Lead daily team meetings and use company-approved communication tools to share updates, recognize achievements, and reinforce goals in a motivating and positive work environment.
  • Manage company vehicles, schedule deliveries, and ensure employee safety protocols are followed.
  • Analyze budgets and income statements to identify areas for process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures, including money-handling, payment collection, inventory control, sales, payroll, and customer service standards.
  • Meet or exceed company targets in staffing, training, sales performance, account retention, and inventory management.
  • Apply effective problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive operational efficiency and support a profitable, well-run store.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Oversee store cleanliness, merchandise presentation, inventory accuracy, equipment functionality, and proper refurbishment of returned merchandise in accordance with company standards.
  • Support cross-functional duties and perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business operations and team objectives.
  • Comply with Fair Debt Collection Practices and all applicable regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
