About The Position

Drury Hotel's Manager in Training Program (MIT) offers recent college graduates an intensive fourteen-week program designed to prepare them for a permanent role as a hotel manager at one of our more than 150 hotels in 30 states. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit, family-owned company and kick start your career. As a recent college graduate, you'll gain hands-on hotel experience at one of our top-performing hotels. During the program, you will report directly to the General Manager and be paired with a mentor to guide you throughout the training. The fourteen-week program offers comprehensive training in all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, night audit, laundry and housekeeping, food and beverage, administration and management. You’ll gain hands-on experience in front-line positions before transitioning to administrative roles, management training and responsibilities, including serving as Manager on Duty. Upon successfully completing the program, you may be presented with an opportunity to step into a supervisory or management role that matches your unique strengths and skills.

Requirements

  • 100% relocatable after completion of program.
  • Nine months of prior work experience (hotel or restaurant preferred).
  • Prior leadership experience (at work or in the classroom environment).
  • College seniors graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Energetic and personable individual with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Dedicated team player who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
