Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for our Columbus, OH location. This unique opportunity allows individuals to explore four different departments within the company, gaining vital leadership skills along the way. The MIT program is designed for driven, hardworking, motivated, and customer-focused individuals who are eager to learn and grow with the company. During the Manager in Training program, participants will rotate through four different departments, each for a six-month period. Potential departments include Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Purchasing, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales. The specific departments will be determined based on the individual's career interests and the company's needs. Each rotation will involve learning a specific position within the department, collaborating with the manager on process improvement initiatives, and cross-training within the department. Additionally, MITs will have the opportunity to engage in group process improvement projects and attend manager development training.
