As a Manager in Training (MIT) at Wingstop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment. You will be responsible for controlling shrinkage, waste, expenses, and payroll while also reviewing restaurant trends to recommend and initiate changes that maximize goals and objectives. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, walk-throughs, and audits. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, assembling and packaging orders, and maintaining a current Operations Manual. You will conduct daily walk-throughs and taste tests of products, ensuring that all products are fresh and prepared correctly. Additionally, you will handle guest issues in the absence of the General Manager and promote the Wingstop brand while upholding mandatory operating requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to serving guests. You will be responsible for staffing the restaurant efficiently, ensuring a safe environment for both team members and guests, and overseeing the orientation and onboarding process. Your leadership will extend to creating team member schedules, auditing operations, and maintaining operational standards.
