The Corewell Health Imaging Team supports our mission of improved health, instilling humanity, and inspiring hope. Our team uses cutting-edge technology such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Interventional and Nuclear Medicine to contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care. It is also home to the Cotton Family Birth Center.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic radiology Required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in leadership Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
  • One of the following certifications is Required: ARRT Radiographer (R) or NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Med Technologist (N) or ARDMS or ARRT Sonographer (S) or ARRT Mammography (M) or AART Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, health care administration or other related area Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, evaluates, controls, and manages all functions of one or more of the Imaging Departments.
  • Coordinates and implements Imaging programs, policies and procedures and assumes the responsibility for ensuring that all programs meet hospital accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Manages the delivery of patient care, ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice.
  • Accountable for enabling patient, physician, and employee satisfaction.
  • Assumes accountability for managing the operational, financial, effectiveness and efficiency of the Radiology Department.
  • Ability to lead employees on exceptional customer service skills.
